FAQ

Ready mix concrete, answered.

How much ready mix concrete do I need?
Multiply length × width × depth (in feet) and divide by 27 to get cubic yards. Our quote form does the math for you — just enter the area and depth.
What PSI strength should I order?
3,000 PSI works for most residential slabs, walkways, and patios. 4,000 PSI is standard for driveways and garage floors. 4,500–5,000 PSI is used for structural work, footings in cold climates, and heavy commercial loads.
How long do I have to pour after the truck arrives?
Standard mix must be placed within 90 minutes of batching. Most trucks allow 5–10 minutes on-site before drum-time fees apply. Add a retarder if you need extended working time in hot weather.
What's the minimum order?
Most plants have a 1 cubic yard minimum with a short-load fee under 8 yards. Full trucks carry 10 yards. We'll match you with a supplier sized for the job.
Do you deliver on weekends?
Saturday pours are common in most markets; Sunday and after-hours delivery is available in select regions with advance notice. Book at least 48 hours ahead when possible.
Can you pump the concrete?
Yes — line pumps handle most residential pours, and boom pumps reach elevated decks and tight sites. Specify placement method on the quote form and we'll coordinate the pump.
